Indie rockers The Gaslight Anthem [ tickets ] have lined up a North American headlining tour this fall following the band's appearances at a pair of big summer festivals.

The New Jersey-bred band, which is currently on tour in Europe, will stay in its home state for its Aug. 2 appearance at the All Points West Festival in Jersey City, and then head to Chicago for an Aug. 7 slot at Lollapalooza. The following month, the group kicks off the headlining outing Sept. 8 in Pittsburgh, PA, with the 25-city trek stretching deep into October. Dates are below.

Alternative rockers Murder By Death will offer primary opening support on the North American leg; additional support acts, along with the band's overseas itinerary, are posted at the Gaslight Anthem's website.

Released last August, the band's most recent studio album, "The '59 Sound," was recorded in Los Angeles and produced by Ted Hutt (Flogging Molly). The group issued the set on CD and in a limited-edition vinyl version.

The album features a pair of singles in the title track and the latest cut to hit radio stations, "Old White Lincoln." Both songs are streaming at the band's MySpace page.
