Members of Violent Femmes, The Bogmen ready new release

emailViolent Femmes founder Gordon Gano and ex-members of The Bogmen Brendan and Billy Ryan have collaborated on a new album titled "Under the Sun," according to a press release. The new band, working as Gordon Gano & The Ryans, will make their recording debut Sept. 15.
Gano, who formed a gospel group called The Mercy Seat during a VF hiatus in the late 1980s, released his first solo album in 2002.
