Death Cab for Cutie makes Hollywood Bowl debut

Death Cab for Cutie will make its Hollywood Bowl debut this summer with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, led by conductor/arranger David Campbell, according to a press release. The July 5 show will feature opening acts Tegan and Sara, and The New Pornographers.

Last season at the Hollywood Bowl, Campbell arranged and conducted Beck's debut at the venue; Campbell, who is Beck's father, also will be arranging and conducting this summer for Ray LaMontagne, Faith Hill and John Fogerty.
