Chris LeDoux calls off concert appearances
Due to his diagnosis with a rare liver disease, Chris LeDoux has called off all upcoming concert appearances, according to his publicist. Physicians from the University of Nebraska Medical Center are evaluating the country musician for a possible liver transplant.
“All of Chris’ concert appearances have been postponed indefinitely,” his manager T.K. Kimbrell said in a statement.
LeDoux has been diagnosed with Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis, a liver disease without a known cause. The disease claimed the life of football great Walter Payton in 1999.
According to his publicist, LeDoux’s case has been detected in its early stages, and he has been added to organ transplant waiting lists.
LeDoux’s condition was disclosed in mid-August when he announced the cancellation of the remainder his concert appearances for that month.
