Considering the charmed life of Kenny Chesney the title of his latest album, "Lucky Old Sun," makes complete sense. After the set dropped in October, it debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 chart and sold over 176,000 units in the first week.
Despite the chart success, live performance is Chesney's main claim to fame; he's grown into one of country music's top draws on the concert circuit. Much to the delight of his fans everywhere, Chesney is taking a "no stone unturned" approach to his current Sun City Carnival tour, choosing to perform in venues of all shapes and sizes. In a statement prior to launching the tour, he said: "What's important is getting out there, and bringing the music to life. That's so much a part of who I am, and what I do. ... And I'm ready."
Last night (6/24) LiveDaily photographer--and Kenny Chesney fan--Peter Keeling attended his show in Wantagh, NY and here are some of his best shots.
