Report: Michael Jackson left behind 'dozens' of unreleased songs

The former head of Michael Jackson 's record label claims the superstar left behind a treasure trove of music, a revelation that all but guarantees an onslaught of posthumous releases.

"There are dozens and dozens of songs that did not end up on his albums," former Sony Music CEO Tommy Mottola told the Associated Press. "People will be hearing a lot of that unreleased material for the first time ever. There's just some genius and brilliance in there.

Mottola--who had a public falling-out with Jackson (in 2002, Jackson claimed Mottola was a "racist")--said Jackson's posthumous output "could go on for years and years--even more than Elvis."
