Alt-rock outfit Staind stepped up to the plate earlier this month to offer a taste of music relief dubbed the "Stimulate This!" tour. In a press release, frontman Aaron Lewis said, "Wall Street got its bailout; now it's time for rock fans to get theirs, this summer, we want to give our fans one night where they can forget about everything else and experience a great rock show."
Teaming up with Shinedown , Chevelle and Halestorm , they've worked with concert promoters to keep ticket prices under $40, with lawn seating--when available—going for less than $10. Fans on the East Coast can catch the tour tonight (7/9) in Columbia, MD, on Friday (7/10) in Gilford, NH, and on Sunday (7/12) in Saratoga Springs, NY. Afterward, they continue on to various points around the US through the end of August.
LiveDaily photographer Gene Schilling caught up with Staind and their fellow bands when the tour stopped in Detroit last Saturday (7/4), and here are some of his best shots.
