Michael Johns, Brooke White team up for summer tour
American Idol finalists Michael Johns and Brooke White have joined forces for a summer tour that will sweep through the West Coast and settle into the Midwest in August.
The tour supports the pair's individual album releases: "Hold Back My Heart" for Johns and "High Hopes & Heartbreak for White. Johns' album hit stores in late June while White's release is teeing up to drop on July 21st.
Johns has been busy with radio visits and a smattering of live performances while White has taken to the web for her promotional push. This week, she hosted a live, streaming performance on Facebook, which her camp dubbed "FaceBrooke" for the day. The three-song mini-set featured her single "Radio Radio."
Early in the year, the pair collaborated on the song "Life Is Okay," a soul ballad on the soundtrack to the snowboarding documentary "Don't Look Down." Johns and White recently took the stage together to perform the tune at the music industry NARM convention (video below).
