Investigators focus on Michael Jackson's doctor
Federal agents reportedly seized medical documents and a forensic image of a computer hard drive during a Wednesday (7/22) raid on the Houston office of one of Michael Jackson 's doctors.
According to a New York Times report, about 25 law enforcement workers--including several federal Drug Enforcement Agency officers--participated in the raid on Dr. Conrad Murray's office. A warrant said that officers were looking for evidence of manslaughter.
"We reviewed the warrant and remained on the premises while the search was being executed," Murray's lawyer Ed Chernoff said in a statement released to the press. "The search warrant authorized law enforcement to search for and seize items, including documents, they believed constituted evidence of the offense of manslaughter."
Murray reportedly has been questioned twice by investigators. He was with Jackson at the time of the performer's death.
