Toadies unleash second annual 'Dia De Los Toadies'

For the second consecutive year, the Toadies will host "Dia De Los Toadies," an intimate day-long concert at a remote Texas ranch.

This year's event, slated for Aug. 29, will take place at Rough Creek Ranch, an 11,000-acre ranch located an hour outside of Fort Worth. Secret Machines , Bowling for Soup , Ben Kweller , Eleven Hundred Springs and The Boom Boom Box are also on the bill.

"We got the idea last year to do an annual event at a remote Texas spot," frontman Vaden Todd Lewis explained in a press release. "Something with a different vibe than the usual club or street festival."

"No Deliverance," the Toadies' most recent release and first in seven years, surfaced last summer. According to a press release, the band plans to return to the studio soon to work on a new album to be released in 2010.
