Album Chart: Fabolous bows atop Billboard 200, King of Pop's reign continues

"Loso's Way," the latest release from rapper Fabolous, makes its debut in the top slot on the forthcoming Billboard 200 album chart, but Michael Jackson's "Number Ones" hits compilation continues to reign supreme in the wake of the pop icon's recent death.

With sales of 114,000 copies during its most recent week in stores, "Number Ones" is currently the best-selling album in America, according to Nielsen SoundScan retail data as reported by Billboard. The album's 2009 sales tally has now reached sales 1.37 million copies, making it this year's second-best-selling album to date, behind only Taylor Swift's "Fearless," which has racked up 2009 sales of 1.5 million copies.

Because of its age, "Number Ones" isn't eligible to appear on The Billboard 200 chart, so Fabolous' "Loso's Way" will claim the top position on that chart with first-week sales of 99,000 copies. The rest of the Top 5 shakes out with Daughtry's "Leave this Town" staying put at No. 2 on sales of 62,000 copies; Maxwell's "BLACKsummers'night" at No. 3 with 55,000 copies sold; the "Now 31" hits compilation at No. 4 with 53,000 copies; and the Black Eyed Peas' "E.N.D." at No. 5 with 49,000 copies.

Rounding out the Top 10 are Kings of Leon's "Only by the Night," up two spots to No. 6 with sales of 47,000 copies; the " Hannah Montana 3" television soundtrack at No. 7 with 41,000 copies; Demi Lovato's "Here We Go Again" at No. 8 with 39,000 copies; Taylor Swift's "Fearless" at No. 9 with 38,000 copies; and Lady GaGa's "The Fame" at No. 10 with 27,000 copies.
