Pepper plans fall club tour

With European and Japanese outings now complete, reggae-rock trio Pepper will take to the road later this month for a US headlining tour that runs through late fall.

The Hawaii-born band will begin the roadwork with an Aug. 21 performance in Santa Ana, CA, concentrating on clubs and theaters along the West Coast through early October, after which the trek heads east. The 22-city outing, which includes stops at Tempe, AZ's Fall Frenzy (9/19) and Santa Barbara's West Beach Festival (9/20), wraps Oct. 18 in Farmingdale, NY. Details are shown below.

The show will feature some new material, according to the group's website.

Pepper's most recent studio album, "Pink Crustaceans and Good Vibrations," hit shelves last summer, though the group released a live record, "Kona Gold," in April.

The Southern California transplants spent the spring on the Jagermeister Music Tour alongside Pennywise, followed by runs through the UK, Portugal and Japan.
