Jay-Z, Rihanna, Kanye West to appear on 'Jay Leno' debut
Jay-Z , Rihanna and Kanye West --three of the biggest names in R&B--will perform together on the debut episode of "The Jay Leno Show" next month.
The trio will appear on the Sept. 14 launch of Leno's new primetime NBC show to perform "Run This Town," a single from Jay-Z's forthcoming album, "The Blueprint 3," which is due in stores Sept. 11.
The appearance will mark one of Rihanna's first public performances since her former boyfriend and fellow R&B singer Chris Brown assaulted her in February.
Brown, who was ordered by the judge to stay at least 10 yards from Rihanna at public events, will be sentenced Aug. 27 and is expected to receive five years probation and six months of community labor, according to published reports.
