Bob Dylan show canceled due to heatwave

Bob Dylan 's planned Tuesday (8/11) performance in the Phoenix area with John Mellencamp and Willie Nelson has been called off due to excessive heat.

Temperatures are expected to be near 110 degrees Tuesday at Camelback Ranch in Glendale, AZ, where the concert was to have taken place. "[I]t has been determined that these conditions have the potential to cause a serious health risk to the public, as well as the working personnel at the venue," promoter Jam Productions said in a statement. "After careful consideration, it has been determined that this potential risk is too great for all involved."
