Five Finger Death Punch readies 'Shock and Raw' trek
Heavy-metal act Five Finger Death Punch will head out on the first leg of the "Shock and Raw" tour this fall in support of "War Is The Answer."
The Los Angeles-based quintet will hit the road next month, beginning with a Sept. 18 gig in Las Vegas. The first leg of the club trek touches down in 15 cities across the nation through mid-October. Shadows Fall, OTEP and 2 Cents will provide opening support. Details are below.
According to a press release, more dates will be announced next week, taking the tour into early November.
"It's good to be going back on the road--we have been hearing it from fans for a while now asking us to come through their town again," guitarist Zoltan Bathory said in a press release. "Now that we have this new record which is a huge step forward for us, we cannot wait to unleash it to the masses live."
"War Is The Answer," 5FDP's second studio set, is due in stores Sept. 22. The record's lead single, "Hard to See," debuted a few weeks ago on rock stations throughout the country. The group's full-length debut, "The Way of The Fist," which surfaced in 2007, topped Billboard's Top Heatseekers chart and peaked at No. 107 on The Billboard 200.
