Like many artists of his generation, Virginia native Jason Mraz finds inspiration from a myriad of genres--from jazz, reggae and pop, to hip-hop and folk.

The singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist began his career in 1999. By 2006 he had toured and performed with big names including Alanis Morissette , Better Than Ezra , and The Presidents of the United States of America . Mraz was well poised for some name recognition of his own two years later, when he released his hit single "I'm Yours" in the fall of 2008. The track, from his now platinum set "We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things," reached No. 6 on The Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Jason Mraz currently is on the second leg of his "Gratitude Cafe" tour. Fans can catch him live in Cleveland, OH, tonight (8/17) at the Time Warner Cable Amphitheatre at Tower City. Mraz performed in Chicago last week (8/13), and LiveDaily photographer Lyle A. Waisman was there to get some shots.
