Weekend Ticketing: Pearl Jam, Bob Dylan, Wallflowers, more
Tickets for another newly announced Pearl Jam concert will be among the hotter shows to hit the market over the weekend, and on-sales are also planned for performances by Bob Dylan , the Wallflowers (featuring Dylans son Jakob), Wilco and Dion.
Meanwhile, tickets to five Marilyn Manson shows that previously had been available only through a special online pre-sale offering are about to go on sale through boxoffices and Ticketmaster outlets.
Pearl Jam recently squeezed an Oct. 24 concert at Los Angeles' Greek Theater into its tour itinerary. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Sunday (10/15), according to promoters.
Tickets to several upcoming Wallflowers dates in the western U.S. are scheduled to hit the market in the coming days. Everlast opens on all dates.
On-sales are set for 10 a.m. on Saturday (10/14) for the bands Seattle and Sacramento stops. Tickets for the Sacramento show will be sold through Tickets.com outlets.
An 11 a.m. Saturday on-sale time is set for the tours Santa Barbara, Calif., stop and a noon on-sale time has been announced for the Wallflowers Las Vegas engagement. On Sunday (10/15) at 10 a.m., tickets hit the market for the bands appearance in San Francisco.
Bob Dylan, the father of Wallflowers frontman Jakob Dylan, is about to embark on a new round of U.S. concert dates.
For Dylans show at the University of Michigan, a 10 a.m. Friday (10/13) on-sale time has been set. A 2 p.m. Friday on-sale time is planned for Dylans shows at Indiana University.
Dylan tickets went on sale to Purdue University students and staff on Thursday (10/12). The remaining tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday (10/13) at 10 a.m.
Tickets for Dylans Lowell, Mass., performance are set to hit the market at 10 a.m. on Saturday (10/14). Promoters have announced a 10 a.m. Monday (10/16) on-sale time for Dylans Lehigh University show.
Tickets to Dylans performance at Boston University will not be sold to the general public. Only university students and staff will be allowed to purchase tickets on campus.
Oldie-but-goodie Dion is scheduled to play a Nov. 9 concert at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. Tickets to see the man responsible for Runaround Sue, The Wanderer, and Abraham, Martin and John will go on sale on Monday (10/16) at 10 a.m. Dion is also scheduled to perform at the Atlantic City Hilton on Oct. 27 and 28; tickets were still available at press time.
Critically lauded rockers Wilco have a few mid-November appearances on the horizon. Tickets to the bands Nov. 22 Chicago homecoming are set to go on sale at 10 a.m. on Saturday (10/14).
Tickets to several Marilyn Manson shows that had been offered on the pre-sale market earlier this week by ArtistDirect will be available through traditional ticketing outlets in the coming days.
On Friday (9/13) at 10 a.m., tickets for Mansons Houston appearance go on sale. At 4 p.m., New Orleans and Philadelphia tickets will be released.
On Saturday (9/14) at 11 a.m., tickets for Manson's appearance in Fairfax, Va., will go on sale, according to promoters. At noon, tickets to his Rochester, N.Y., show go on sale.
