Train pulls out of the station this fall

With a new album in the chute, pop-rockers Train are setting their sights on a fall roadtrip that will finding the band canvassing the US from coast to coast.

The outing--which will feature Uncle Kracker in the opening slot--gets underway in the Pacific Northwest in late October, and currently is slated to touch down in two-dozen cities through mid December. Details are included below.

Before hitting the road, Train will give a Labor Day performance (9/7) as part of the annual Muscular Dystrophy Association Telethon, according to a press release.

On Oct. 27, Train will offer up "Save Me, San Francisco," which features the leadoff single "Hey, Soul Sister." The cut is streaming at Train's website, as is behind-the-scenes footage of the group shooting a video for the cut.

"Save Me, San Francisco" is Train's fifth studio set, and first to feature the group's original core trio--vocalist Pat Monahan, drummer Scott Underwood and guitarist Jimmy Stafford--since 2003's "My Private Nation."
