A 33-year-old man who attended a Toby Keith concert Friday (9/4) night at Darien Lake in New York was found dead in pond of water at the venue the following day, according to local news reports.

Pennsylvania resident William "Billy" Sutherland, who attended the concert with several friends, got separated from his party after the concert. His buddies searched for him but when they had no luck, they decided to drive back to Pennsylvania.

The following day, they still had not heard from Sutherland so they returned to Darien Lake and notified the Sheriff's office.

The investigation led to Sunshine Lake, which is a small pond of water between two parking lots for the amusement park area, Sergeant Gregory Walker told WIVB News.

The Sheriff's office says the incident does not appear suspicious. Autopsy results are pending.
