Bryan Adams plots December tour of Canada
Pop-rock star Bryan Adams has scheduled a year-end tour of eight arenas in western Canada. The native of Kingston, Ontario, is also planing to play concerts in five Eastern European countries during late October.
Tickets for Adams shows in Grand Prairie, Alberta; Cranbrook, British Columbia; Lethbridge, Alberta; Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and Red Deer, Alberta, are scheduled to go on sale on Saturday (10/21) through Ticketmaster Canada box offices. Tickets to Adams other Canadian dates are on sale now.
Adams is back on his feet following a motorcycle accident in Jamaica earlier this year. Adams official website reports that he underwent physical therapy at Londons Grace Hospital in August because of injuries he suffered to the tendons in his right leg during the accident.
Before his tour of Eastern Europe, Adams will perform one or two songs with Elton John and his band at New Yorks Madison Square Garden on Oct. 20 and 21, according to the website.
Adams last release was a 16-song greatest hits album titled "The Best of Me," which also includes a pair of new tunes.
