Corrs set European agenda
LONDON-- The Corrs have announced a 29-date European tour to support the release of their latest album "In Blue." The major outing will begin in Hamburg, Germany, on Oct. 31. The U.K. leg of the tour begins at London's Wembley Arena, for three nights, on Dec. 20.
"In Blue," the Corrs' third studio album, debuted at No. 1 when it was released in the U.K. this summer. "Irresistible," the second single from the album, is due in Britain on Oct. 23.
Sibling foursome Caroline, Andrea, Sharon and Jim Corr first formed their Irish folk pop act in 1991, and gained popularity outside of their homeland after being invited to perform at the World Cup soccer championship in Boston in 1994.
The Corrs released their first album "Forgiven Not Forgotten" through East West Records in 1996. "In Blue" is the follow-up to 1997's "Talk on Corners," which chalked up the highest number of sales in Britain that year.
