Now that his "Side by Side" summer tour with Brian Culbertson is complete, Dave Koz [ tickets ] has announced plans for his 12th annual "Smooth Jazz Christmas" outing.

The Grammy-winning saxophonist will join forces with the tour's original cast--trumpeter Rick Braun, pianist David Benoit, guitarist Peter White and keyboardist Brenda Russell--for the trek, which begins Nov. 27 in Mobile, AL. The holiday outing will visit theaters in 21 cities before concluding Dec. 22 in Mesa, AZ. Details are shown below.

The quintet will perform tracks from their respective catalogs, as well as songs from the tour's namesake album, "A Smooth Jazz Christmas by Dave Koz & Friends," which surfaced in 2001.

Koz, who was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame yesterday (9/22), has also released two other holiday collections: 1997's "December Makes Me Feel This Way" and 2007's "Memories of a Winter's Night."

Last September, the jazz musician released his first retrospective, "Dave Koz Greatest Hits," which includes "You Make Me Smile," "Can't Let You Go (The Sha La Song)" and "Faces of the Heart."

Koz is also dabbling in the wine-making business with the help of Vinum Cellars. Last month, the musician unveiled three types of his namesake KOZ wine in Whole Foods Markets in the Southwest, with proceeds going to the Starlight Children's Foundation, for which Koz has served as the global ambassador for nearly two decades.
