Staind [ tickets ] frontman Aaron Lewis [ tickets ] continues his annual tradition of kicking off the New Year with a round of solo gigs throughout the US.

Lewis will begin the sixth annual acoustic run with a Jan. 1 performance in Henderson, NV. The 12-date outing spans two months and visits casinos across the nation through a Feb. 25 show in Hammond, IN. Two-night stands are also on the books in Vicksburg, MS (1/21-1/22) and Atlantic City, NJ (2/13-2/14). Details are included below.

Currently, Lewis and his Staind bandmates are in the midst of a fall excursion alongside reunited rockers Creed. That tour, which supports Staind's 2008 release, "The Illusion of Progress," wraps in mid-October. The group's most recent set landed at No. 3 on The Billboard 200 and features the No. 1 single, "Believe."

In related news, Lewis will appear on the Outdoor Channel series "Dream Season Celebrity," which is set to air sometime next year, according to a press release. The seventh season of the reality hunting show, which chronicles competing teams from across the nation, will pair four celebrities, including Lewis, with a non-celebrity. Lewis' participation in the show will raise funds for the Catch-A-Dream Foundation, which gives once-in-a-lifetime hunting experiences to children with life-threatening illnesses.
