Rush readies live hits collection
Rush will release its first "best of" live collection Nov. 17 with songs culled from three previously released DVDs--"Rush in Rio," "R30" and "Snakes & Arrows Live"--according to a press release. The new compilation, "Working Men," which will be available on DVD and CD, features live recordings of the band's greatest hits as well as a previously unreleased track titled "One Little Victory."
The 12-track set includes songs from across the Canadian band's catalog, among them "Tom Sawyer," "The Spirit of Radio," "2112" and "Working Man."
Rush released its self-titled debut album in 1974 and has since sold more than 35 million records worldwide. The band's most recent studio album, 2007's "Snakes & Arrows," debuted on The Billboard 200 at No. 3, making it the band's 11th Top 10 album in the US.
