Bob Dylan [ tickets ] has once again extended his seemingly endless road plans, adding three nights in both Boston and New York City to his current tour in support of his latest studio set.

The new Boston (11/13-15) and New York (11/17-19) engagements come at the tail end of the folk-rock icon's current trek, which continues tonight (10/8) in Eugene, OR. Other fresh additions to the schedule include dates in Bloomington, IN (11/2), and Philadelphia (11/9). Details are included below.

Tickets for the New York shows go on sale tomorrow (10/9), while those for the Boston shows will be available Saturday (10/10). Pre-sale tickets for both cities are available through Dylan's website.

On the road, Dylan and his regular backing group continue to support "Together Through Life," his 33rd studio set, which surfaced in April.

On the album, Dylan's touring group was supplemented by David Hidalgo of Los Lobos and guitarist Mike Campbell of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.

"Together Through Life" debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200, making it Dylan's fifth record to take the top spot.

Next week, the veteran performer will also unveil a new collection of classic holiday songs titled "Christmas In the Heart." All royalties from the album, which is due in stores Tuesday (10/13), will benefit Feeding America, which provides meals to the hungry during the holiday season.

The album was made available beginning this week as an early Internet download to the 13 million Citibank customers enrolled in the company's rewards program, according to a Citibank spokesperson.
