Imogen Heap adds 'Ellipse' to fall trek

Singer/songwriter Imogen Heap has lined up late-year North American road dates in support of her recently released third studio album, "Ellipse."

The British performer kicks off the outing Nov. 9 in Los Angeles, and the trek is currently scheduled to hit 11 cities, with tickets for most dates set to go on sale by Oct. 16. Check the performer's MySpace page for more info.

"Ellipse," which surfaced in August, is the singer's third studio effort and first since 2005's "Speak For Yourself." The self-produced set peaked at No. 5 on The Billboard 200, marking Heap's highest appearance in the Billboard album chart to date.

The album, which includes the single "First Train Home," which the singer performed in August on an episode of "The Late Show with David Letterman," also hit No. 1 on Billboard's Top Electronic Albums chart, No. 4 on the Canadian Top 200 and No. 39 in her native UK.

A deluxe edition of "Ellipse" includes instrumental versions of all songs from the album, along with a making-of-the-album video for those who pre-ordered either the deluxe or standard editions.
