John Mellencamp and author Stephen King are collaborating on a musical about ghosts, Billboard reported.

Capitol Records will release "1," a collection of the Beatles' No. 1 hits, on Nov. 13.

The Rocket, music magazine of the Seattle and Portland, Ore., area, is ceasing publication, according to The Associated Press.

The Lifetime network will air WomenRock--a benefit concert for breast cancer research featuring Sheryl Crow , Melissa Etheridge and Wynnona, among others--on Sunday (10/22) at 8 p.m. Eastern Time and Monday (10/23) at 11 p.m. Eastern Time.

First week sales of Limp Bizkit's new album, "Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water," are expected to fall somewhere between 1 million and 1.4 million units, according to Billboard Online. About 400,000 copies of the album reportedly were sold on Tuesday (10/17) alone, the CD's first day of release.
