75-year-old B.B. King keeps his show on the road

The latest edition of the B.B. King Blues Festival tour is now history, but its 75-year-old namesake isnt planning to take a break from his life on the road anytime soon. The legendary bluesman has lined up a series of headlining dates that will take him to the end of the year.

Kings latest stretch of dates opens on Saturday (10/21) in Sedona, Ariz., and will conclude with a three-night-stand at his B.B. King Blues Club and Grill in New York City on Dec. 9.

Two new King albums hit stores in 2000: his self-produced CD "Making Love Is Good for You" (Universal/MCA), which features five new songs among its 14 tracks, and "Riding with the King," a collaboration with Eric Clapton . Five of the tracks recorded for "Riding with the King" were classic King songs, and John Hiatt penned the title track.

This years B.B. King Blues Festival visited more than a dozen cities in September and October and sported a line-up that included Buddy Guy, Susan Tedeschi and Tommy Castro.
