Natalie Cole continues 'Still Unforgettable' push
After finishing up a short in-progress European leg, Natalie Cole will return to the US for a round of fall dates behind last year's "Still Unforgettable."
The stateside trek begins with a Nov. 5 performance in Salem, VA, followed by 11 shows spread across the nation through the holiday season. Cole will wrap up the outing with a Dec. 21 performance in Clearwater, FL. Details are shown below.
"Still Unforgettable," Cole's 19th studio effort, surfaced last fall. The record, which peaked at No. 19 on The Billboard 200 chart and No. 8 on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, netted the performer a pair of trophies--Best Pop Traditional Album and Best Instrumental Accompanying Vocalist--at the 51st Grammy Awards ceremonies earlier this year.
The songstress is also promoting a special seasonal set on HSN, featuring "Still Unforgettable," as well as a five-song holiday sampler with covers of classics like "My Favorite Things" and "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year."
Earlier this year, Cole underwent a kidney transplant due to hepatitis C and spent the summer recuperating from the major operation. Her first post-surgery appearance took place Sept. 9 at the Hollywood Bowl.
