Dashboard Confessional postpones tour
Dashboard Confessional has postponed their upcoming North American tour because of a non-specified family issue within the band, according to a press release.
"Due to a family situation that is beyond our control, we have to cancel our upcoming tour with New Found Glory, Never Shout Never, Meg & Dia and Single File," the band members said in a statement. "We don't take this lightly but family has to come first.... We apologize to everyone who planned on coming to the shows. We will find a way to make it up to you."
The one exception to the postponements will be the band's Nov. 7 concert with the Louisville Orchestra, which will go forward as planned.
Dashboard Confessional expects to reschedule the North American outing sometime next year.
The group's latest album, "Alter the Ending," is set to be released Nov. 10.
