Alicia Keys to perform at Latin Grammys
Alica Keys is among the latest performers added to the lineup for the 10th Annual Latin Grammy Awards telecast, according to a press release. Latin Grammy-winner Daniela Mercury and current nominee Reik also are among the recently announced additions to the annual awards celebration.
The Nov. 5 show at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas will feature several collaborative numbers, including a special duet by Keys and Alejandro Sanz.
The show also will highlight the Las Vegas entertainment landscape, with member's of Cirque du Soleile's "Mystere" troupe performing during a joint number by Ruben Blades and Calle 13. Continuing the focus on the host city, the cast of "Le Reve" will share the stage with Laura Pausini.
Previously announced performers include Pepe Aguilar, David Bisbal, Juan Gabriel, Oscar D'Leon, Shaila Durcal, Luis Fonsi and Los Tucanes de Tijuana among many others.
Several actors--including Eva Longoria Parker, Charytin, Aaron Diaz and Marlene Favela--have been confirmed to present awards during the show, which will be broadcast live on the Univision Network. Additional presenters will include Miss Universe 2009 Stefania Fernandez, Latin Grammy-winner Alejandra Guzman, actress/singer Dulce Maria, singer/songwriter Rosana and Pau Dones of Latin rock group Jarabe de Palo. Previously announced presenters include Enrique Iglesias, Gian Marco, Luis Enrique and Juan Luis Guerra.
The 10th anniversary celebration will be co-hosted by actor/comedian Eugenio Derbez and actress/singer Lucero.
