All maps early 2010 headlining shows

Veteran punk unit All will make a reappearance on the road next year, with a few early January headlining dates lined up at East Coast venues.

The brief slate gets underway Jan. 6 in Cambridge, MA, and concludes Jan. 9 in Brooklyn. The outing will also pass through Philadelphia (1/7) and Baltimore (1/8). Dates are below.

"Problematic," All's most recent album, surfaced in 2000. The set, which is the band's eighth studio effort, marked its final release before taking a six-year hiatus beginning in 2002.

All formed in Los Angeles in 1987 out of the ashes of Southern California hardcore legends The Descendents, after that band lost lead singer Milo Aukerman, who left to pursue a graduate degree in biochemistry at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Rather than fold, the remaining members continued as All, recruiting a series of lead singers (including current member Chad Price) to front the group.

Since Aukerman's return to The Descendents fold in 1996, both groups have existed simultaneously. The Descendents' most recent studio release is the 2004 EP "'Merican."
