Hannity--who's a mainstay of the Fox News network's lineup--put on his first Freedom Concert in 2003. Since that time, the summertime festival has raised more than $10 million for the Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund, according to the event's website. All net proceeds from ticket sales benefit the fund, which was created by retired Marine Oliver North and provides college scholarships for children with parents killed or severely disabled in military action.

Previous artists who have donated their performances to the cause include Billy Ray Cyrus, Hank Williams, Jr., and Lee Greenwood.

Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Lynyrd Skynyrd, who last week finished up a late summer and fall tour, are supporting their 11th studio set, "God & Guns," which surfaced in September. The album debuted at No. 18 on The Billboard 200, making it the band's highest charting release since 1977's "Street Survivors."

Southern rock legend Charlie Daniels and his backing band will perform material culled from his extensive discography, which spans four decades. The group's most recent studio release, "Deuces," landed on shelves in 2007.

Contemporary Christian artist Michael W. Smith released "It's a Wonderful Christmas," his third collection of holiday material, in 2007. The seasonal effort won a Dove Award for Christmas Album of the Year last year.
