The Deftones [ tickets ] will play two concerts, Nov. 19-20, at the Avalon in Hollywood, CA, to benefit a trust fund set up to help pay for bassist Chi Cheng's growing medical costs, according to a press release. Cheng has been hospitalized in a semi-conscious state since a Nov. 2008 car accident.

Donations also are being raised for the Chi Ling Cheng Special Needs Trust through an online auction that starts today (11/17). Additional details can be found at the Deftones' website.
