Report: The Who to play Super Bowl halftime show
The Who are set to perform during the halftime show at Super Bowl XLIV, according to a Rolling Stone report. Unnamed sources told RS the band inked the deal a long time ago and that an official announcement from the National Football League is expected on Thanksgiving Day.
The Feb. 7 game will be held in Miami and broadcast on the CBS Television Network.
Previous Super Bowl halftime shows have featured performances by Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, Tom Petty, The Rolling Stones and Prince.
