Adam Lambert
"For Your Entertainment"
(RCA)

The 2009 "American Idol" runner-up--arguably the most buzzed-about second-place "A.I." finisher since Clay Aiken in 2003--will try to live up to all the immense hype with the release of his major-label debut. "For Your Entertainment" hits stores Nov. 23.

The glam-rock-inspired vocalist worked with many big-name artists, including Lady GaGa, Linda Perry and Pink, in preparing for the album. "For Your Entertainment" includes the tunes "Music Again" (written by Justin Hawkins of The Darkness), "Soaked" (penned by Matthew Bellamy of Muse) and the hit single "Time For Miracle" (featured in the new movie "2012").

Susan Boyle
"I Dreamed a Dream"
(Sony)

The television sensation, who gained worldwide attention when she sang "I Dreamed a Dream" from "Les Miserables" on "Britain's Got Talent" earlier this year, attempts to conquer the pop charts with the release of her debut CD. "I Dreamed a Dream" hits stores Nov. 23.

So far, so good--pre-orders for the album "I Dreamed a Dream" have pushed it to the No. 1 spot on Amazon.com's best-sellers list, topping even her most obvious TV-spawned competition, Adam Lambert.

The first single off Boyle's release is a cover of The Rolling Stones' "Wild Horses." Other tracks include such oldies as "Cry Me a River," "How Great Thou Art" and "Silent Night."

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
"The Live Anthology"
(Reprise)

The classic-rock troubadour and his band of Heartbreakers unveil a gift that every big Tom Petty fan will want to unwrap this holiday season--a new four-disc live box set. "The Live Anthology," in stores Nov. 23, collects performances originally recorded in concert between 1978 and 2007, according to a press release.

"The Live Anthology" will feature hits and classic original cuts as well as several of the band's favorite cover tunes. Among the covers will be The Grateful Dead's "Friend of the Devil," Fleetwood Mac's "Oh Well," James Brown's "Good, Good Lovin'" and Booker T. and the MGs' "Green Onions." The set will be available in five different configurations.

Andrea Bocelli
"My Christmas"
(Philips)

The Italian pop/opera star follows last year's "Incanto" with a holiday-themed outing. "My Christmas" features Bocelli performing with a wide array of guest stars, from Mary J. Blige and Natalie Cole to The Muppets and The Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

Bocelli will support "My Christmas" (in stores Nov. 23) with a few late-year dates. The outing begins Nov. 28 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and will hit six cities on the trek, which concludes Dec. 13 in Anaheim, CA.

Shakira
"She Wolf"
(Epic)

The Latin-pop star unleashes her third English-language studio album on Nov. 23. "She Wolf" has already produced two singles in the US--the title track and the Timbaland-produced "Give It Up to Me." Although the majority of tracks are sung in English, "She Wolf" does contain some Spanish language numbers.

Original score
"The Twilight Saga: New Moon - The Score"
(E1)

Seemingly as unquenchable as a vampire's lust for blood is the public's desire for "Twilight" product. This offering, the score to the latest "Twilight" film, features music composed by Alexandre Desplat. It hit stores on Friday (11/20)--so, if you're a "Twilight" fan, you might already own it.
