Grace Potter & The Nocturnals Gallery Spotlight: New York City - Nov. 20, 2009
If you've watched the TV shows "One Tree Hill," "Grey's Anatomy" or "Brothers & Sisters," you've probably heard a few songs by Grace Potter & The Nocturnals.
Consisting of original members Grace Potter (vocals/organ/guitar), Scott Tournet (guitar) and Matthew Burr (drums), along with bassist Catherine Popper and rhythm guitarist Benny Yurco, the southern-rock group is based in the northern state of Vermont. Having recently completed recording their forthcoming album--as yet untitled-- the band took to the road with Brett Dennen last month, leaving any resulting cabin fever far behind.
Tonight (11/24) the tour arrives at St. Andrew's Hall in Detroit, and tomorrow (11/25) it hits the House of Blues in Cleveland. LiveDaily photographer Chris Owyoung attended the group's show at Terminal 5 in New York City on Friday (11/20), and here are the results.
