Editors return to North America behind 'This Evening'

British indie-rockers Editors will return to the US for the first time in two years this winter in support of the group's most recent studio set, "In This Light And On This Evening."
The quintet will finish up an in-progress European leg before heading stateside for a three-week trek that kicks off Feb. 5 in Seattle. The 12-city run hits major markets from coast to coast, including two Canadian concerts slated for Feb. 6 in Vancouver and Feb. 16 in Toronto. Details are shown below.

"In This Light And On This Evening," the Editors' third full-length effort, surfaced in the UK in October and snagged the No. 1 spot on the country's Top Albums chart. The set, which follows 2007's "An End Has a Start," will be available in US stores Jan. 19.
"It's a dark record," bassist Russell Leetch explained in a recent interview with the UK's News of the World. "But we had a really good time making it. The eight weeks we spent recording this album were the most fun we've ever had in the studio."
Editors released their debut album, "The Back Room," in 2005. The set, which has sold more than a million copies worldwide, received a Mercury Prize nomination in the UK the following year.
