Depeche Mode launches Teenage Cancer Trust series
Depeche Mode will help kick off Teenage Cancer Trust's benefit concert series Feb. 17 at the Royal Albert Hall in London, according to the charity's website. All proceeds from the one-off show will go to the Trust's efforts to raise money for specialty teenage cancer facilities.
To commemorate the Depeche Mode shows, Swiss watchmaker Hublot has donated 12 custom-designed watches, each depicting a different DM album cover as its watch face. The one-of-a-kind watches will be auctioned off, with all proceeds going towards the Teenage Cancer Trust.
The Depeche Mode show will help launch the 10th anniversary of the Trust's concerts at the legendary performance hall. During the decade, the TCT's concerts have raised more than $14 million to help teens fight cancer.
The concert will be the first in a full week of music and comedy shows that will begin March 22. Additional details, including participating artists, will be announced in January.
