A complete list of currently scheduled acts and performers is available at the festival's < a href="http://www.nojazzfest.com/" target="new">website.

In addition, the Fest will feature scores of local acts, as well as the festival's traditional food and crafts offerings. Tickets for the event are currently on sale, and are available in several different pricing tiers, including single day tickets priced at $45 in advance and $60 at the gate.

The 2009 edition of Jazz Fest drew more than 400,000 fans, according to festival promoters. Many of last year's fans watched headliners Bon Jovi make their first appearance at the long-running New Orleans event.

Since 1970, the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage festival has showcased artists from a wide range of genres, including jazz, gospel, blues, rock, pop, R&B, Cajun and zydeco.

Last year's edition returned the festival to its traditional seven full days of programming, after the city's recovery from 2005's Hurricane Katrina had forced organizers to trim a day off the event in both 2006 and 2007.
