Rascal Flatts Gallery Spotlight: Uncasville, CT - Jan. 15, 2010
Achieving platinum status is old hat for Rascal Flatts . All six albums the country music trio released in the decade since signing with Lyric Street Records have shipped the million-plus copies required to receive the RIAA's platinum award.
Gary LeVox (lead vocals), Jay DeMarcus (bass guitar, keyboards, vocals) and Joe Don Rooney (lead guitar, vocals) are clearly one of the genre's most beloved bands, and they also achieved crossover success around the world for their version of Tom Cochrane 's "Life Is a Highway," which was featured on the soundtrack for the 2006 Pixar movie "Cars."
From now through at least mid March, the guys will be on the road. Not only will fans get to see Rascal Flatts live in concert, but rumor has it there is a new album in the works for release later this year. LiveDaily photographer Mary Ouellette was on hand to get shots of the guys as they kicked off the latest round of their "Unstoppable" tour on Friday (1/15) in Uncasville, CT.
