Megadeth maps 20th anniversary 'Rust' tour

Megadeth will perform its classic album "Rust in Peace" in full during a March cross-country jaunt in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the 1990 album's release.
The trek--which also features Testament and Exodus--kicks off March 1 in Spokane, WA, and concludes with a March 31 show in Los Angeles. Dates for the 22-city outing are included at right.

A presale event for the band's fan-club members begins Jan. 28, with tickets on sale to the rest of the public Jan. 29. See the group's website for more information on pre-sale ticket availability.
The band's 12th and latest studio set, "Endgame," surfaced in September, and marked the first release featuring guitarist Chris Broderick, who joined the band following Glen Drover's 2008 departure. The new album follows 2007's "United Abominations," which peaked at No. 8 on The Billboard 200.
Produced by bandleader Dave Mustaine and British studio veteran Andy Sneap (Exodus, Cradle of Filth), "Endgame" debuted at No. 9 on The Billboard 200.
"I can't believe the way the whole thing came together," Broderick wrote on the band's website. "It has a unique and original sound that I don't think could have come together with any other group of people. From Dave's snarling vocals, to James' huge bass sound and Shawn's dead-accurate drumming, it is just relentless, and with Andy producing, it focused the sound and direction of the CD."
