The Offspring continues to firm up tour plans

The Offspring has lined up venues for all of the previously announced tour dates on its upcoming North American tour, according to the band’s official website. The group has also added a couple of U.S. dates to the run, removed one and shifted others around. An Internet pre-sale for two of the dates begins on Thursday (11/9).

While tickets for most of the dates have already gone on sale, tickets go on sale on Saturday (11/11) for the Dec. 15 show in Washington D.C. and the Dec. 17 show in New York City. The New York show has traded nights with the tour’s New Jersey stop, which is now set for Dec. 16, according to the band’s official website.

Tickets for the Washington D.C. and New York shows are also being offered in an Internet pre-sale that begins on Thursday and runs until Friday evening (11/10), according to Ticketmaster.com. (LiveDaily is a publication of Ticketmaster Online-CitySearch.)

A Dec. 10 show in Indianapolis, Ind., has also been added to the run, while a Nov. 28 stop in Denver has been removed from the itinerary. A spokesperson for the Denver venue that was originally listed on the Offspring's website said that the show is not on the venue's calendar.

The Offspring’s tour is still scheduled to get underway in Los Angeles on Nov. 18, followed by a two-night stand in Las Vegas on Nov. 19 and Nov. 20--initially, the band was scheduled to play only a Nov. 21 show in Las Vegas.

The band has also unveiled the first batch of dates for its European tour, beginning with a Jan. 17 show in Scotland, and followed by January stops in Manchester and London, England. A Feb. 7 performance in Paris is the final date on the band’s itinerary.

The Offspring will be supporting its forthcoming album, “Conspiracy of One” (Sony/Columbia), which hits stores on Nov. 14. The album is the follow-up to the group's multi-platinum, 1998 release "Americana."

Cypress Hill and MxPx have been tapped to open for the Offspring’s upcoming tour.
