Jeff Beck slots new dates following 'Commotion'

Guitar legend Jeff Beck has added a second leg of Eastern US dates to his ongoing headlining trek in support of his first new studio album in seven years.
The tour, which continues its current Western US portion April 16 in San Francisco, swings to the east beginning June 3 in Boston. Beck's plans includes a stop at Tennessee's Bonnaroo Festival (6/12) and a tour-closing June 26 appearance at Eric Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival in Chicago. Dates are included at right.

Recorded last year in London with producers Steve Lipson (Paul McCartney, Pet Shop Boys) and Trevor Horn (Cher, Tina Turner), "Emotion and Commotion" features Beck backed by several longtime collaborators, including Vinnie Colaiuta (drums), Jason Rebello (keyboards) and Tal Wilkenfeld (bass), as well as a 64-piece orchestra on several cuts.
Grammy-winner Joss Stone supplies guest vocals on a pair of tracks, "I Put a Spell on You" and "There's No Other Me." The album is due in stores April 13 on Atco Records.
Beck's previous studio album is 2003's "Jeff," which cracked The Billboard 200. The album's track "Plan B" won for Best Rock Instrumental Performance at the 46th Grammy Awards.
