Limp Bizkits Durst calls off another Anger Management show
The Anger Management Tour canceled its San Jose stop on Sunday (11/19), marking the fourth show in a month waylaid by Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst's recurring throat problems.
Durst was able to recover sufficiently to perform the tour's final show with openers Eminem, Papa Roach and Xzibit in Anaheim, Calif., on Tuesday (11/21). For the remaining dates on the North American tour, DMX and Godsmack will appear on the bill with Limp Bizkit.
According to a statement from tour promoter SFX Entertainment, the San Jose show "cannot be rescheduled at this time due to prior commitments currently held by all four acts." Tickets for the canceled show will be refunded at place of purchase.
Durst's throat troubles were previously blamed for the cancellations of an Oct. 25 show in Albany, N.Y., a Nov. 3 show in Indianapolis, and a Nov. 15 show in Vancouver. The Albany show has been rescheduled for Dec. 11, but no other make-up dates have been announced.
The next Anger Management show is scheduled for Friday (11/24) at the Great Western Forum in Los Angeles.
