Tour Diary #4: Finger Eleven, on tour with Creed and Sevendust
Finger Eleven's sophomore album, "The Greyest of Blue Skies," was released by Wind-Up Records (also home to Creed) in July. The group has since been taking its music to the road, mixing club and festival dates with its arena gigs.
On Wednesday night (12/6), the group opened for Creed in St. Louis. The tour's next stop is Biloxi, Miss.

driving all day to biloxi. mixed feelings about the show last night from within the band. it's good to be back where everything pretty much gets done for you. it gets taken for granted quickly. i should mention that catering had neon bowls around the salads and condiments, which i felt was a pretty sharp touch. "dinner in the not-too distant future," i think, was the motif they were going for. glad to know we're still gonna have salad [in the future]. good projection. i hope they're right.
we bought creed a cake for fun, and to celebrate their recent billboard award. early reports indicate that they thought it was cool and the writing pretty funny as well. it was, too. unfortunately, those words are between us and them. a sacred bond that only icing can seal. i hope you understand.
