Tour Diary #8: Finger Eleven, on tour with Creed and Sevendust
Finger Eleven's sophomore album, "The Greyest of Blue Skies," was released by Wind-Up Records (also home to Creed) in July. The band has since been taking its music to the road, mixing club and festival dates with its arena gigs. The Creed tour is scheduled to conclude on Thursday (12/14) in Orlando, Fla.

our show last night was met with what could only be called "repressed enthusiasm." that's how i'm choosing to look at it anyway. no time for harsh truths. plus, i've only got a hundred words or so. i'm not going to get into it. speaking of getting into it, that crowd was way more into cotton candy, munching popcorn and sitting quietly than engaging in any part of our performance. that crowd was definitely alive ... in an apathetic sort of way. we missed our moment together, i am sorry to say.
i was ready to judge the crowd completely lame when sevendust took those bastards hostage. it wasn't them; it was us. so the harsh truths come out, despite my own repressions. this only added to the frustrations felt within the camp, and may explain the state in which the dressing room was left. we'll have to play the other stadium the next time we come to louisville. they may not want us back there. tough luck for us.
we had so much love to give, louisville. where did we go wrong?
