Backstreet Boys release more 'Black & Blue' tickets
Backstreet Boys are releasing additional tickets to all seven of their upcoming January concert dates, according to the group’s official website. The group has also launched a subscription-based Internet fan club, through which fans will have a shot at buying “special up-front” seats for the rest of the group’s forthcoming concert dates.
Additional tickets for BSB’s “Black & Blue” tour dates in Ft. Lauderdale (1/22-23), Charlotte, N.C. (1/26), Atlanta (1/27) and Philadelphia (1/30-31) will be available to fans who log on to Backstreet Boys' official website and obtain a password posted there.
On Monday (1/8), the group launched a new Internet fan club. Fans who join the club at a cost of $24.95 will have access to the required passwords for obtaining “Fanclub Only” seats for the subsequent February and March dates on the tour, according to the site. Fan club members will also gain access to “behind-the-scenes [website] content including road reports, backstage interviews, photos, videos, contests and more."
The group announced on Wednesday (1/10) that it will perform in Mexico City on March 23.
“Black & Blue” (Jive) was released in November, debuted at No. 1 on the album chart and has sold over 4 million copies. The album spent two weeks at No. 1 before beginning its descent, and sits at No. 15 on this week’s chart.
