Evan Dando to resurface in U.K. in February

LONDON--Lemonheads frontman Evan Dando will return to the U.K. for the first time in nearly four years when he plays a string of shows beginning in mid-February.

At his gigs in Ireland, the singer will be joined on stage by collaborators Ben Lee and Ben Kweller.

Dando is not scheduled to release any new material around the time of the concerts. However, he is tipped to be working on a collection of covers by country singer Gram Parsons .

In Boston, Mass., in 1984, Dando co-founded the Lemonheads, best noted for the 1992 album "It’s a Shame About Ray."
