U.K. Concert Outlook: Mel C, U2, Texas, Jools Holland, Bon Jovi, Westlife

With just three days notice, Spice Girl Melanie C has called off a planned tour. The 12 concert hall dates were pulled at doctor’s orders after the Spice Girl was diagnosed with a throat infection.

She is scheduled to proceed with international dates later in February and March, but tour dates between Jan. 27 and Feb. 11 are expected to be rescheduled for May.

U2 is to play a "secret" warm-up show at the London Astoria on Feb. 7, according to their official site.

Texas has added an extra show--April 12 at Newcastle’s Telewest Arena--to its upcoming U.K. tour. Tickets went on sale on Friday.

Jazz musician Jools Holland is to play at London’s Royal Albert Hall on Nov. 24 and 25. Tickets go on sale on Feb. 2.

Bon Jovi ’s show at the Milton Keynes Bowl has been rescheduled from June 15 to June 16. Tickets are still valid for this date. Refunds can be obtained from point of purchase. Meanwhile, the band has added a June 17 appearance at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium to its itinerary. Tickets are not yet on sale.

Westlife has added an April 14 show at London’s Wembley Arena to its upcoming tour. Tickets are not yet on sale.
